I believe it is more likely an underground vein mine gets highgraded than an open pit heap leach. I'm sure you may go after a oxide or sulphide depending on what the heap leach pads and roaster can handle, or go after better zones for a brief period of time, but the tonnage is so high that you can not do it for extended periods - it must average out.
