Good to hear about the team. Congrats. It's really fun watching them play at that age. I particularly enjoyed working with young kids who weren't that good but helping them to make measurable progress and to take pride in that. I had one kid who was a child genius but was really timid. I worked with him all year on heading the ball and in the championship game which we won by upsetting the favored team 1-0 he made a crucial header. Later in talking to the team I singled out that header and you could see his eyes beam with pride. Many of the coaches wouldn't play their weak players in these games but I played them all.
