... American leadership has failed not only her own people...
Reg Howe's law suit and all the work that GATA has done
is basically the 21st century equivalent of that same declaration.
Bill Murphy is correct... story breaks, the world as we know it
will change forever.
No one will like it, and no one is ready.
Reg's answer to the defendants "Move to Dismiss" is one of the
most finely crafted documents I have ever read.
This WILL go to discovery.
The evidence is massive, overwhelming....and shocking!
IF part of the US gold supply is encumbered,
and IF the Bundesbank has empty gold vaults,
the political and financial repercussions... are incalculable.
I have read Reg's thirty-five page tome twice now...
... and at three hours a crack, it's a read!
... defining moments in the presentation that exemplifies this,
are the following two paragraphs which are amazing in their own right,
and is the absolute essence of the whole case......
"... this case involved... one very likely to lead to criminal indictments.
Today the gold price is hundreds of dollars below its' true equilibrium,
causing enormous damage to the gold producing nations around the world,
especially in southern Africa. By turning...
"The burden of... terminate these illegal activities overnight.
And now we have James Turk's essay, that if proven correct,
will be the end of the gold manipulation line for sure.
The American press may be gutless and controlled,
but that's not the way things work in Europe,
especially Germany. The ghost of World War Two,
Hitler and hyperinflation still haunts the German psyche to this day.
Governments will certainly fall over this,
political and economic leaders will be forced to resign in disgrace,
and the death of all fiat currencies is in the wind.
The international banking/financial community that has been living
in a paper world for the last 30 years is on very shakey ground now,
and will probably not survive this gold debacle that is...
And if that isn't bad enough; right behind Goldgate
rides Ted Butler and Silvergate...
Toss in Doug Noland and his ongoing story about the $100 trillion
in derivatives, the credit crisis, and a US dollar...
And lest we forget the oil, gas, and electricity crisis
that will descend on the People's Republik of Kalifornia
(the world's 6th largest economy) when they start to turn on
their air conditioners in a few weeks.
This energy problem will have...
... to circle the wagons.
Of concern to me is what the cabal will do now that they have been...
... equally concerned about what kind of "cure" that they...
It's ironic. It only took thirty years after Nixon took the U.S.
off the gold standard for the whole thing to blow up.
... when this gold story breaks, it will make Watergate look like
a stick-up at your local 7-11 by comparison.
As a Canadian watching this unfold...
... there is no way that we (and probably the rest of the world)
are not going to get... by the firestorm that approaches from all sides.
It's a helpless feeling...
My grandfather fought in Belgium...
I hate to see what he... fought for in The Great War, go up in smoke.
Then along came...
AND FOR WHAT!!!
America is about to toss everything it struggled and fought for...
... could not abide by the discipline that was imposed upon it
by the gold standard.
In my closing remarks in my letter to Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill
I made mention of the fact that...
Well, we'll all soon find out.
That dam I've been talking about is just about ready to go,
and someone else is about to sound the alarm by crying "FIRE"
in that proverbial crowded theatre.
It will be interesting to see who gets out alive.
I surely do hope that God does bless America,
because she's sure going to need it.
