Hi Mark - using win 98 on both computers - older Gateway has only 128 MB SRAM yet whizzes around internet. Newer DELL with 512 DRAM - frequently defragged and temp internet files deleted- gives me the'done' message when i try to link to another site - 'done' but nothing happens for 30 seconds or more till it loads site. On going since I bought in late Dec - Dell no help - tells me 'no one else has this problem'. Fast as blazes in everthing else - defrags my 80 GB hardrive in 10 minutes and usually great at multi-tasking. Often the first link to a site is fast - but as i move around or go back and forth within the same site - it becomes slower and slower - means something - i'm sure - just don't know what. Suspect DRAM is culprit - any help sure would be appreciated. TIA Linda
