Lost indeed! ... as lost as a capitalist in one of the most socialist provinces of Canada. As lost as a visionary deal maker in one of the oldest and most inward looking mining companies in the world! Two immovables = NO DEAL at VB! GET IT!!!??? ... or do you want me to spell it out for you Supe? The politicos of Canada's very own welfare state want to force a private company into making a bad and uneconomic business decision. The socialists want that company to do this after that company has already made a very bad and uneconomic business decision, all on their very own, when they paid too much in the first place. That company knows full well that they did pay too much, yet they refuse to write down the asset, which makes any future economic decision (economic for them) look like a rip-off for the state. It will even look bad by normal business standards practiced elsewhere, let alone how bad it will look to a socialist population who by and large don't understand the concept that in order for someone to live and eat, someone has to pay for it! Either the person living and eating has to pay, ... or someone else does. There will be no deal coming soon at VB Supe, ... better bury your SVB dreams for another year at least.
