The following has been received from our joint venture partner, SouthernEra Resources
Limited:
Vertical hole ML-002, 800 metres east of the completed first hole was stopped at 1601
metres. No kimberlite was intercepted.
Two narrow kimberlite intersections were contained in the first completed hole.
Company geologists believe that these intercepts are a north-east extension of the
Snap Lake Deposit.
Diamondex is currently drilling two (2) vertical holes, 4,200' and 7,000', west of the
Mackay Lake SouthernEra/Kalahari border and immediately north of the DeBeers/Snap
Lake Deposit (completion expected over the next twenty days).
If either of these holes is successful, the Snap Lake Trend would be to the north and
possibly north-east, making a potential new drill target area for our joint venture partner
to the north and north-east of the first completed hole at the Mackay Lake Project.
The total project area (Mackay Lake/Back Lake) which is joint ventured by SouthernEra
measures approximately 38 miles east-west by 10 miles north-south or 380 square
miles.
