This is so weird. I did everything as instructed, but when I click the Audio tab, where the yellow speaker icon shows, and it says "Sound Playback," and "Preferred Device:", the words "No Playback Devices" are visible, though they're bleached out. Also, the Volume and Advanced buttons underneath are bleached out, too.

It's as though i've somehow deleted the sound from my computer. But I wasn't even on the computer today, except for the early defrag. When there was definitely a beep.
