Tradelite,
Could you be more specific about the following things you've posted:

money garnered from individual Realtors who seek to advertise on the site is pocket change compared to the real sources of HOMS money.

What are the real sources of HOMS money?

lots of people don't like some of the politics and things that go on behind the scenes with HOMS, but that is basically internal "Realtor-stuff" at issue there, and doesn't really affect shareholders

What is going on behind the scenes at HOMS, and what exactly is "Realtor-stuff"?

it's the big guys who control what goes on at NAR and their investment in HOMS

Who are the "big guys"? Names? How much does NAR have invested in HOMS and what did they get for that investment?

I'm far more interested in why the Justice Department is questioning HOMS on anti-trust issues--which truly is a "Realtor-thing" that many Realtors would be interested in, and I do NOT believe they would have HOMS to blame....they would have to blame something else for that little policy question.

Anti-trust is a "Realtor-thing"? How? Who would they have to blame and why?

Point is, money comes in from many sources.

Then why don't they report revenue from many sources?

It's kind of "indispensable" at this point, and there are "powers that be" who will assure that it remains viable, in one form or another.

That's a good one. An "indispensable" web site. Closer to "disposable" than "indispensable". O.K. so who are the mysterious "powers that be"?

You keep hinting that you know the inside scoop about how important HOMS is. Drop the hints and spill it if you've got something.
