They are nervous little creatures! I guess if they would take more care as to where they build their nest they could relax a little!! My pair has finally built their nest. For some reason they flew back and forth for a week before making the final decision on the approval of the basket I put out! I was late getting the usual hanging basket on the front porch. The porch is their preferred spot. When I watered the plant on Wednesday it did not have eggs yet. I expect them any day now.

I wish you could get some pics of the Orioles.....one bird I've never seen in person. How many eggs do they generally lay and what color are the eggs?
