Bruce: What is your opinion of this new modeling technique they are using, developed by the university of B.C.

To the untrained it looks like they are doing the same thing that was done with Xrays. For them to state before they drilled keel 1 exactly what was below was impressive.

Perhaps they didn't find the large pool as expected. With this Xray modeling it does seem their chances are better than most are thinking. This technique is new and will require refinements. It will be nice to know if it will take 5 years or 2 weeks to fix the flaw or is it even fixable ?

As for Inco walking away, at the turn of the century the early miners used to say a geologist will never find you ore. Since that time geology has come a long way and the geologists did start to find ore. Perhaps it will be seen in hindsight as a positive. Convention has been wrong so often that to never say never is accepted as more insightful.
