I agree. When Biotechs get dirt cheap once in a while, waiting for a selloff to invest and selling a few weeks later seems like a very profitable investment strategy. Buy and hold was hard to beat in 1998-2000, but with the agony in the markets, it may be more profitable to look for 50% rather than 500% returns.
I do like LEXG but I think that the LEXG "knockout" technology is too narrow to build a platform company. I think that LEXG would create more shareholder value after merging with another genomics tool company ( CEO's egos permitting)
