Mr. Freedman, basically, thro' just my own observation, 3com is a very economic sensitive company. When coms warned in the past, other companies would follow and warned. Usually it started out like a coms' company specific pile of s--ts but it usually turned out to be quite macro-economic. The reason may be a company with poor execution would feel the impact of a downturn first. Better companies like Intel or Oracle would feel it later. But usually coms would not be the first to warn, other companies like disk drives and lower grade semis would warn before coms. On the recovery side, coms couldn't lead but it will move in sync with the market if there is an uptrend. It's just my humble reading that coms seems to be on a breakout at this very moment. Mang
