I am down with memes. They sound like a good thing. If that is your flag I salute it. It makes sense. It's obvious in this buxxy world that you have to simplify. So adopting other's thought patterns by their speech patterns and using them in what seems appropriate places might be the best way of submitting to the communal will. It moves forward. Acclamation is easier to achieve.

What is the usual is that those who have status beat a simple drum. The roots of their analysis are the best binary choices of it's either this or that. This is distilled into simple signals that can be remembered that vaguely associate with the perceived best path, which is follow the leader anyway. Words that are outside the few that are on the page of the transcript are eschewed. Such meaningless self derived words may even be rebellious.

Head ape drones the mantra which has one message. Obey the big dummy and you will be alright. Condition your mind. Keep it simple stupid. Thinking is dangerous.

For most people they are right. It is how they teach business students at Harvard.

What you find is that most people ever think things through. They prefer to adopt mantrum or mantra. So most commonly held generalizations have a unique character of being 100% wrong or completely opposite to reality. This makes it easy to make complex decisions by just asking 100 people what they would do in that case, take the average and do the opposite.

Einstein's theory was handed into a professor of physics at one point. He was pointed out that it made the Universe impossibly complex. "My dear Einstein", the professor was heard to say, "You are making the Universe impossibly complex, if everything is dependent on everything else for its frame of reference then you never know where you stand.
Just pick one frame and work it out from there. Keep it simple stupid."
