TMTA - Gigantic lockup coming up
Transmeta Corporation develops and sells software-based microprocessors and develops additional hardware and software technologies used to build Mobile Internet Computers (MICs). Estimate this quarter is -11 cents
year 2001 is -26 cents
year 2002 is +13 cents

Current price is $17.80
cash is 2.41/share
short interest 9.3%
Market cap 2.32 billion
2002 PE is 136.92

Looks like a very large market cap for a company that is losing money and priced to perfection. PE of 137 for year 2002 if thing go great is not exactly prudent investing to me.

Add a giant IPO lockup on may 5.
109 million shares
83.75% of outstanding shares

I see a nice dump later in the week.

I will post my entry later in the week, no position yet.

Many Happy Returns
