Another pick showing a strong performance is junior oil and
gas producer Gentry Resources (GNY: TSE, C$1.16),
announcing record 2000 financial and operating results.
Gentry's gross revenues for the year were over C$13
million, doubling the C$6.5 million it posted in '99, and
the company's net income was a record C$1.9 million up
4,330% as compared to the previous year.

Daily average production volumes for the year rose 33% and
reserves also grew -- up 20%. The company participated in
the drilling of 38 wells last year, resulting in a 92%
success rate.
