I still do not agree with the "we are the government" idea. Not only is the government separate from the people, but the people within the government are separate from each other. People are responsible for their own
actions, not every action taken by their government. In a democracy we have the responsibility to vote for politicians that will not pursue policies that we see as unjust. But individual actions of politicians and bureaucrats are not under are control. All we can do is protest and vote against the politician in the next election.
