Kyros, excellent point! I can't see banking on GEMS selling some new technology when the competition is so fierce and GEMS may not have the patents to keep them out even if they HAVE invented some great new widget. Besides, there are a lot of other companies in the tech sector with equally as great technology or better who may come out with something tomorrow to trump GEMS technology.

On the other hand, a company like Fonar has cutting edge Open MRI technology AND the patents to protect this burgeoning new field. BIG difference! I don't see anything MORE unusual about GEMS ability to produce new technology over competitors and you don't bank on lots of "maybes". I invest on revenues and patents that will protect those revenues for years to come. Sorry, GEMS just doesn't meet those criteria. Fonar is a FAR better investment at this point.
