ole49r, Correct opinions are not passing myself off as an expert. Where I can speak correctly, I do so. When not I express the proper level of caution about my comments. Do not assume that because you know zero about a subject that we all know zero about it. My comments on the liver, for example, are all correct, general knowledge for the technically inclined. I am not a doctor, nor a biochemist, but what I do know is correct. The number of things you know zero about is pretty much the same as what you list as my expert subjects, however I suspect that there are huge unmentioned areas of which you know zero that have never been touched upon. Red ants for example. They go down below the frost line to winter there until the spring. As soon as the frost is gone, up they come, a simple thing like that you did not know. But I am always happy to see them as they make their piles of sand, as I then know spring is truly here. So stop trying to break everyone(yes I see you attack many others) down to below your level, you will never succeed, nothing can ever be as low as you. I am a good arbiter of human nature, and so you can add that to my list too.
The BRE-X burn rate will slow a bit after they terminate their Indo obligations to employees, I expect they will then begin a defensive decline to zero assets. Most likely they will offshore all cash, and just pay what they must to keep the office going. But pay any back?? never, it would never reach the SH, grasping lawyers would hook it into court pending a settlement, and it would vanish. Offshore it will allow a minimum office to keep going for some years, depending on how much is spent on legal expenses. They may decide to not fight in the USA, or to wage a low cost war of writs and postponements for a few years, hoping Walsh can find ...wait for it, another BRE-X, a genuine large deposit, with which to save the company. Faint hope that, as BRE-X(Busang) was the largest and biggest of all, if it had been true. When they lawyers finally win in the USA, they will have to starts all over again in Canada, and another 3-5 years. The Canadian class action will go faster, but will not find any $$ to grab, nor any other assets. Its all gone away forever. Now the Brokers and exchanges and advisers...that's another question. They will end up paying a lot of money back to the class actions, and the SH will get some in due course in 5-7 years I am advised, perhaps more? Maybe sooner if all parties on all sides get together and settle to a cash amount.? Imponderables here, make whatever predictions you like, some will come true.
