Maybe but, and its not really the focus of this thread, I don't believe that is the case. Why didn't buying resume on Feb 1 right after the "profit taking" of the Jan rally. How about the August 2000 rally? Those are the last two month ends after rallies and they were met with a sell-off soon after. Not preaching here but swing-trading longs may want to take something off the table.
