Thanks!, That sounds like a very interesting strategy, I didn't even think about selling puts. I will have to put some serious thought into where I think AMD will go from here but as you point out even a temporary dip below 30 wouldn't be a disaster unless I was assigned. and I would still be on the right side of time value since every day time value would be ticking in my favor. (as opposed to my crude scheme of buying puts) And if I wanted a little less risk I could just implement your strategy on 5000 shares instead of 10000.
