hi tom so outlook is good to go ("Finally went to the Microsoft site and reinstalled IE 5.5"), plus you are now running defrag and scan disk without problems, if you shut down all background apps. yes? recommend a program that many on this thread have come to appreciate and use regularly... #reply-14287408 . with one mouse click you'll have all those apps closed and be ready to do your system maintenance. glad you're back in business :) mark
