I think it's wrong to emphasize the "more for less" angle. School privatization shouldn't be about doing the job cheaper. It's about giving consumers more choices.

If educators had the freedom to experiment someone would come up with a product that delighted their customers. In that case people would be glad to pay even more. In the long run privatization would induce the country to spend MORE in education but we would receive MUCH MORE for it.
