Just a quick disclaimer. Today I went short AMD at $31.25. First time I have been short AMD.

IMO, this pricewar hurts both company, but it hurts AMD more since Intel has this phony MHz. And of courses analyst make more money promoting the larger cap Intel to their clients.

Also with Dell's recent extremely aggressive pricing, they should continue to take market share away from the other guys. Dell is now offering 1.7 GHz machines for $1350!, including a 17" monitor, Yikes!!. Dell is by far the price leader. I also do not buy the argument that PC sales have seen the bottom. The economy is still getting worse.

I hope you guys are not mad, to make up for it, I just bought myself a 1.33 GHz Athlon. :)
