I too cannot bring myself to short AMD. But I just sold half my $15 2003 leaps, bought AMD shares with the proceeds and wrote $25 May covered calls on them all. About as close to shorting as I can get.

Not bearish long term but expecting pullback to $25 in the next few weeks.
