I'm glad Nfld & Lab have a good growth rate, ... it should only take about 2000 years or so before they become net contributors to Canadian tax base. Calculate the cost to Canadian taxpayers of every barrel of Hibernia oil. Alberta was built on easy to get at, inexpensive oil, ... there is no comparison between Alta and Nfld. Forget about VB contributing anything to NFLD or Canada, ... it has already become so controversial and so mired in red tape that it will never be what it could have been or should have been before Tobin got his greasy claws into it. And who cares what the National Post says, ... they backed Stockwell Day in the last election. I strongly doubt that Inco will extract a single pound of VB ore until they can process it in their Sudbury facilities, ... those facilities have been paid for a long time ago.
