Sudan: Exploration and Operations Review - from Talisman's Q1 press release, May 1 Sudan Production continues to increase steadily, averaging 50,083 bbls/d (Talisman share) during the quarter. Production and transportation capacity expansion and the tie in of two new fields continue on schedule such that gross production should exceed 230,000 bbls/d by the end of the year. In the first quarter, 10 wells were drilled, four of which were exploration wells and six development/appraisal. Two of five wildcat exploration wells have tested oil in Block 4 giving promise to a number of follow-up locations.
