The thing that really worries me is that EXLN seems to have very little visibility in the EXLN market. I regularly get flyers for XML conferences, and I also follow coverage in business magazines (as opposed to IT magazines) and I have never seen a single mention of EXLN.

This is EXLN's Achilles heal for sure. The problem lies with management. Their marketing dept. is one of the worst I have ever seen. That being said, I don’t see this to be as important as it is to say an AOL type company. I feel XML will be sought after by companies once proper exposure has been made. The better products will be in demand for they make things work better which is the whole point. I will add that by this time EXLN will have to step up their customer and product support. This is far more important than is their marketing. Once these products take off, I don’t think getting additional customers will be as much of a problem as keeping them.

Like I said in my previous post, at $1.5 I am comfortable dipping in a toe or two. Having the best product in an up and coming industry has to be worth something! Whether or not it will materialize is another story.
