Scumbria:

It seems quite realistic to expect that the 200% differential will drop to 20% in three months.

Using current pricewatchs pricings of $98 vs $ 58 for costs of 128 Mb of RDRAM vs DDR, and current dataquest surveys that average memory delivered on a desktop computer averages 160 MB of DRAM, it is not hard to envision the delta in cost of RDRAM vs DDR per system to decrease from $50-60 today to $25-30 by Sep which will be 20-30% if you don't keep listening to carl's biased rantings.
