I believe that Jerry thinks that Fab25 with 0.13-micron aluminum interconnects and low-k dielectrics will be viable through 2003. This almost certainly would not be true with Duron versus a value segment P4, but could be true with a value segment Hammer.

Depends on what you mean by a major foundry deal. Jerry definitely hinted that, starting as early as sometime in 2002, AMD would be using foundry services (probably Pacific rim), and probably ramp foundry units to 20% of their total by the end of 2003. Is 20% of total units a major foundry deal?
