Golden Phoenix Minerals Reports Production of 738.98 Ounces of Dore'
From Mineral Ridge Gold Mine in Nevada
RENO, Nev., May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GPXM - news) announced today that
it has produced a total of 738.98 ounces of gold-silver dore' from its Mineral Ridge gold mine. The dore' was refined, producing
440.94 ounces of gold and 188.8 ounces of silver, which subsequently was sold. The difference in weight between the dore' and
gold and silver is attributed to unwanted metals in the dore'. The sale paid for maintenance of the mine during the transition to
operational status.
Golden Phoenix is working toward posting the required reclamation bond and starting the mine up to produce gold and silver. The
bond is expected to be obtained in the near future.
The Mineral Ridge gold mine, located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, has a mineable reserve of 2,658,000 tons averaging 0.079
ounces gold per ton for a total of 209,200 ounces. Mining operations will begin with posting of the reclamation bond, completion of
financing agreements, and finalizing an acceptable mining contract.
