Level 2 shows best bid/asked from the nasdaq dealers market makers.

1. Up arrow indicates a new offer that is above the previous best bid or asked from that market maker. A bid for 100 that is a nickel above a bid for 1000 shares will show an up arrow and will cause the first offer to be removed.

2. Parenthesis is an odd lot offer.

3. Very interestingly, orders that do not have to be displayed include those that are >10k number or $100k, or more. So what good is this if you can't see the depth of the market?
