Nokia (NOK) 34.96 +0.77: Briefing.com is hearing that Salomon Smith Barney issued a note after the close in which it stated that Verizon (VZ) has stopped shipping Nokia's CDMA phones and might recall all of those already in use. Salomon notes that CDMA handsets are less than 5% of NOK's business, but had represented a significant opportunity. Sees this news as positive for Qualcomm (QCOM), as NOK might turn to QCOM chips to prevent future glitches.

Nothing unexpected here. NOK is toast! Buy your chips from the Q masters or die a slow painful death in GSM quick sand!!
