Yes, for the most part. I remember Steve Balmer saying how overpriced tech stocks were about 18 months ago. He knew that they were overvalued and he was right. There's no doubt that they avoided the bubble stocks and they probably hedged the more volatile stocks in their port.

This is a win for MSFT. Now their cash is worth more. Bubble stocks could out-bid MSFT using their inflated stock as purchasing power. Now with these companies stocks in the single digits, MSFT's cash is powerful purchasing power once again.
