Sorry to disappoint you Jim but my portfolio is up very well today. A interesting point is that the judge just handed Rambus the multiplexed bus with the Markman decision. <G> Sometimes these rulings have a way of biting the opposition in the ass. The interesting issue here is whether the judge is going to toss out the claims that do not reference his 8 "evil" words. If he does does that mean he has son of Markman? By all appearances this judge is quite similar to the MSFT judge Pennfield Jackson. How much does it cost to buy a Federal judge? I expect all the US lawsuits to be slowed down by the numerous appeals that will result from this case win, lose or draw. We are looking at several years of litigation as a minimum. The Markman will be appealed de novo and is probably the key to the infringement cases.
