I remember that May 2000 was mentioned as a starting date in one of the posts back then. November 15, 2000 was slated for the introduction of the Mustang core based Athlons using a new transistor type. I guess a lower yield compared to the original copper Athlon's process has delayed volume production until now. Regards, Hans
