Striper, I don't consider myself much of a prognosticator, but markets neither advance nor recede in a straight line. If the next retracement is sharp enough it could induce a panic among those conservative folks, like yourself, who have taken the current rally to be the mark of a bottom. Market sentiment follows the hoopla ... and screams of anguish are no further away than the next adverse news report.

Gluttons for punishment may, indeed, "Load up and hang on."; serious investors are more likely to allocate their reserves with caution.
