JC, The Pentium 4 is not a disaster. It is simply in a more competitive atmosphere than Intel has ever seen before, so it is not doing as well as previous core introductions. Have to disagree with you there. The high cost and low performance of P4 makes it a sensible choice mostly for morons. AMD isn't lying. Their rhetoric is far more honest than the competition.
