hi e, okay, i'm with ya. this will send you to the right spot.... in control panel, select 'network'. you should get a page that looks very similar to this: chasms2.com you should have two lines with ethernet adapter components. the second one will be for TCP/IP properties. click it. you should see a dialog that resembles this: chasms2.com those seven tabs are the settings that you want. let me know if this works. good luck :) mark
