Without doing the research myself, I would have also guessed the same.

Not saying that it is not important, but fundamentals are really lousey timing devices. Although I too feel there are fundamental weaknesses in the U.S.Economy that could bite us in the rear down the road, the question becomes WHEN and HOW MUCH HIGHER CAN THE MARKET GO. Although I am aware of fundamental weaknesses as I have expressed in the past, that does not mean that the market will turn immediately. Technically, the NAZ/NDX are showing strength for the mid-term(30 days). Beyond that, I will let others guess when/how high.
