If Klanns version is true, american soldiers slaughtered tens of young children. I know those young children might have been used by the VC. I am under no illusions but the Klann version paints the picture of a war crime. Tie them up--gag them so they dont give away your position etc. but execution.....Kerry's story about the killings, if true, was an accident of war. But the first part of Klanns story was also corraberated separately by a Vietnamese woman, albeit VietCong, including the description of throat cutting etc and stabbings of small children. Even if that was the only atrocitity committed and the rest was accidental, it doesnt change the fact that it too was an atrocity.
