The talking heads on TV are spreading a rumor that CSCO's selling off their inventory at a decent clip. I didn't hear them say whether that included any of the written off inventory before I pushed the mute button. After claiming a write-off of the magnitude they did, can they reduce it anytime they want if sales unexpectedly picked up since they claimed the write-off?
