The thing I enjoy most about digital cameras and photography is being able to mess with the image once it's uploaded. Get a copy of photoshop and upload 20 images, and spend all day editing, cropping and cutting/pasting....fun for the whole family (and without the expense of a home photo lab, fer sure!)

That, and not having to pay for development are a big plus (although for stuff I really wanna look pretty, I still use my trusty Canon A-1....)
