ben, i bought an olympus c-3000 for just over $400 (refubed on ubid.com). add another $125 for 2 sets of batteries, charger, 64 mb smart media and ac adapter. i love it. the cost of digital photography is extremely low. i was never an avid photographer before, but now i find myself taking my camera along with me a lot... sure, 3 megapixels will only look good up to 8x12 or so, however, shoot analog when you plan to go above 8x12! i say... two thumbs up!
