Looking at my 9 long plays (I always like 9) I am amazed that QLGC and NEWP are the only "NORMAL" ones. while the Hope Float Babies are proliferating. What is going on here is simple. While companies like RIMM (began with RIMM) on down through INSP and HOMS have shown shorters that the days of shorting through the death are DEAD and BURIED, we can possibly resurrect some of these stocks for further gans. Granted we are not going up in a straight line. There will be shorts, of course, we just came out of 2 short days and now 2 long days on HOMS, but the "SHORT TERM SHORTIE SHORT" which we coined about 18 months ago is rearing its head once again. Once I was proven wrong on a put position (still have it) in VRSN I was only TOO HAPPY to reverse direction on the VERY DAY i bought the put and have been long VRSN since the day earnings came out (albeit not half as large a position as I could have).. "
