There's light at the end of the funnel!!

I can't give you a definition of a "sales funnel" but whatever the
hell it is, Jeff Allen, CFO of NTAP says it "has never been better".
A CFO making this type of comment is pretty optimistic given the
financial bean-counter's typical reserved comments.

I think the "funnel" means deals in progress, not yet booked, which
means business is picking up. There's light at the end of the funnel! :)

he made to an audience of portfolio managers later Wednesday morning. "I'm
not willing to call a trend," Allen said. "But it's my personal belief that we've
seen the worst of the uncertainty about capital spending," and that customers
are getting close to finishing their budget re-examinations."
