Do you really believe that is an accurate description
of Hinduism today , Neo ?

You do not find it rather an
idiotic oversight , to forget to point out the funeral pyres
and wars that have lined roads for centuries
of Christendom ? Many.

How many of the saints were cannonized after
they were martyred and burned by their own
Church ? Many.

There must be something I missed , when I look back
upon world history , say the last 1300yrs or so.
We are a great civilization because of Christianity?
Or is it simply because of the human spirit
and energy coming from out of many quarters
of the world to become more aware and seek
a "More perfect Union" away from the
rule of tyrants and ____.

Where does this collective taking and giving
of credits get passed out from ? This kind of crude
analysis is very typical of those so used to
adroitly covering up and hiding centuries of their own
abuses and unfathomable inconsistencies.

Perhaps we can give that "Church" the auspice
of inspiring and conquering much of the world ,
but I would not attribute the enlightenment
of man or maintenance of Law & Order , that
it ( The Holy See) so likes to conceive itself of
perpetuating .

It is just another of mankind's latest
fairytales of the superman held fast behind
grandiose marble walls with it's borrowed rituals
propaganda machines and
historical "Spins" .

* Mother Teresa was one of their best PR jobs
of the last Century ...as the Vatican trys to make
war on Indian Culture. They do have one of the
best propaganda machines in the world . And Ghandi
did rather steal the spotlight of "Living Sainthood"
idea away from the Catholic domain. How completely
heretical to think that such a "Sainted" man could be produced
outside the sacred walls of Christianity and capture
the imagination of the entire world ?

Let's sprinkle the "Holy Water " around liberally, Neo.
But these are modern times , and such characterizations
of the beliefs of others doesn't
wash any longer.
