Given the recent tensions between the United States and China, and the importance of that relationship to Q's future, I thought folks here might be interested in the article by Tom Christensen from the link below. Christensen is one of the nation's leading experts on Asian security matters, and his piece offers a superb overview of the real Taiwan Straits issues and how to think about them.
