Why not admit you went overboard in lambasting Christopher in the first place? He had been arguing along just fine, before he expressed the exasperation that set you off. You took what he said in the worst possible sense, when the context and history of his participation did not warrant it. It was wholly disproportionate. As you may have noticed, I participated only sporadically in the Mother Teresa discussion, but I was offended at the way you behaved towards Christopher, and therefore jumped in. There is nothing "phony" about it........
