Airport link goes wireless 2001-05-04 quamnet.com Hong Kong International Airport has launched wireless Internet access as an option for travellers. Operated by Pacific Century CyberWorks' eSolutions unit, it connects at up to 1.54 Mbps, and is available in the departures level, restaurants, airline lounges and some transit areas. Plans are in place to extend it to the entire passenger terminal within two years. Users will be charged a one-time initiation fee plus either a monthly fee of HK$ 500 plus HK $ 8 per 24 hours; HK$ 80 a day for unlimited logins; or HK$ 40 an hour.
