mr mark, thanks for the recall notice. I have an affected Inspiron 5000e. After clicking on the Dell link I saw that a BIOS upgrade was also recommended, so I did this and then ran Pitstop again. They reported [as they had before]... >The System Management BIOS is reporting that there is only 128 MB of RAM, but Windows reports that 192 MB is available. Generally this indicates a System Management BIOS (SMBIOS) problem. The SMBIOS information may need to be manually updated, or there may be a bug in the BIOS software. You may want to see if there is a BIOS upgrade available for this system.< So I downloaded Pitstops BIOS reporting tool, but have not run it yet. Gottfried
